mine needs to be replaced too, it is a purge selinoid for the evap system if I am not mistaken.

well, got the solenoid changed, didnt fix the problem, im going to go have them hook the truck up to a machine(not the obd scanner) and find the problem.

Did you run the tests or just throw the part at it? Did you clear the codes? The CEL will not turn itself off in most cases.

just put the part in(wish i did the tests), cleared the code by unhooking the battery for about 5 minutes

Need to clear OBD2 codes with an OBD code reader or a scanner.

i finally had some extra time, took the throttle body and intake after the tb, the air intake where the egr valve goes was so plugged that you couldnt stick a needle in it. got it cleaned out and the p0401 is gone. truck runs a lot better(plus i had the plugs and wires changed a few days ago. one wire was broke)
still getting the p1451 and i did clear the codes with the obd2 scanner this time. i have a couple parts that im thinking might have something to do with it, the pics are in my gallery with description on whats going on.
