Default year match-up for shock replacements

so ive been searching for this for awhile and i havent found anything yet. Does anyone have to year match-up for the shock replacement from a f150 to a f250. I know that this will help to level out the f150.
And if you dont know all the match ups, what year f250 would i use the shocks from to put onto a 1996 f150?

Shocks will not level out the truck. That is what the springs are for. Any shock from 80-96 should work. Get a descent shock, not the cheapie 15.99 shocks I put on my ranger, its like there are no shocks.

wow i totally knew that springs level it out. i have no clue why i even put shocks haha. oh well. so any spring from a 80-96 f250 should work? And im going to just buy some shocks from Advanced like some Ranchero's or something.

Yep, '80-'96 should do it.
