I always figure the oil is the engines lifes blood so I use the best I can....

I used to be a Penzoil man but after seeing what happens to engine after 100,000 miles with frequent changes I stopped...

I use Synthetic oil now...mostly Castrol Sytenc or Royal Purple....

Shell Rotella is the best as it is one of the only that has the Zinc and Phosphate in it still...

I always look at it like this...if you want it to live why cheapen out on the oil...we all drive hard so why not get oil to handle it...?

Having said that I am currently going on 10,000 miles on my current oil and it is still as clean as the day it was put in...clear as can be...it pays to use good oil....

if i find out thats the case, then i reckon that gives me a reason to drop a 5.0 in it but i highly doubt it is, because when i drained the oil, it didn't look that thick..... it looked like regular motor oil

well i guess i'll find out whenever i change the oil again and put Castrol GTX in it.... but if the motor is shot in it, then like i said, that'll give me a reason to put a 5.0 in it lol
