Default Wow! What a difference.

Installed a new set of Monroe Gas-Matic shocks on my '96. Rattles are gone and the ride is 100% better. I was really concerned about rusted bolts but everything went great only about 2 hours to do the whole job. Not to bad for an old 70 something dude.

Maybe we could be "youthfully challenged". It certainly helps that my lovely wife bought me a Ryobi rechargeable impact for birthday. I will continue to do as much as I can, my philosophy is if you stay active you live.

The Monroes on the rear axle of min made a nice difference.
Have not had to replace the fronts yet - 80,000 miles and they are doing good..

I just replaced all four of mine (157,000 miles). It was easier than I thought it would be. The ride was 100% better afterwards! Tightening the steering gearbox made it drive like new again!

Took the wife with me to a sale the other day and she remarked how well the old truck rode. She drives a '16 SRX so she is used to a good riding vehicle.
