wont start
1994 f150 4.9ltr stick, 4whl. Fuel to rail and spark, no start. When tank is switched to rear, engine stalls and dies.. When switched back won't start, perhaps after awhile of battery consumtion. "This time no.." I can hear the fuel pumps, I disconnected at fuel rail, appears to be ample fuel. Pulled number one plug, good sprk. "PCM, Fuel psi, how to deduce. Whats with the differance in fuel switch from one tank to another.. I appreciate any help or someone who perhaps has experienced this issue and solved it. Thank you .
Thank you for the reply. After a series of checks, IE new fuel filter, eec codes etc. which by the way there were none. I decided to throw some fuel done its throat. In the process I discovered a volume of water in the tank and some creamy stuff. So I botttled it. I siphened from the tanks, I drained the tanks, threw some fuel down its throat and it began to fire. It bellowed white smoke for a few, then cleared. Though I haven't attempted to switch tanks yet, to determine that issue or if it had been resolved by proxy. Now the ABS dash light is blinking, even after resetting the eec. The fuel filter refused to come off, so I bought a tool designed for this, it was crap and didn't work. A simple line wrench and a extra pair of hands, finally. Though I wonder about the h2o, perhaps a n agent for the fuel system to corrct the balance and fuel system. Any ideas on the ABS dash light blinking. Seventy five dollars and a few days, so watch where you get gas, all stations have it in theirs, just how much??. All this after new upper and lower ball joints, camber/caster kits, KR2-KYB's all around and the AT2's from Michlin, 125.oo for the fine tuning on the front end. IN the process of that I'm told there is a slight diamond in the rear creating a marginal pull to tha-e right. I ran a string from each rear tire to the front, lines don't lie it showed true for the tracking. So the guy at the shop said he'd chalk them on the rack for nothing, only I did'nt make back as of yet, on account of the h2o mystery.
