Default Wiper Problem

Hey yall, I am having a problem with my windshield wipers. When I first turn them on, they work fine. After 15-30 seconds they start hesitating and eventually want to stop. When I turn the switch off, they park in the correct place.

I searched previous posts and found out about the regulator PC board that some of us have had problems with. My issue doesn't sound quite like those problems, but could be the same thing. I was curious because my wipers do park everytime. Also while searching this post I found out that more than likely my truck does have intermittent wipers. They have not worked since I have owned the truck, but the high and low speeds did until last week. Any help would be appreciated.

Not sure if this is related - but noticed my wipers getting slower over the period of a couple of years. Replaced the motor, and life was good again. BTW, I have the intermittent feature.

The park function is part of the motor, but the control box helps to work it. Start with the PC board repair and go from there. Spin your switch the opposite direction and you will feel the intermittent "bump" and adjustability in the ****.

Default Thanks

Today I bypassed the interval govenor all together by putting straight 12 volts to the motor and letting it run. The motor performed fine in both speeds. So I guess my issue definately in the govenor. I will post the results when I get it removed and repaired. Thanks for the help.
