Okay so both of my power window motors have gone out and i am not paying $100 to fix them. What all do i need to just make the crank windows? Also my truck is a 2wheel drive half ton 302, could or should i put a 3inch lift on it??

I'm not sure of all the parts you would need to convert to hand crank, but I would imagine that between the parts and effort, you will have spent about as much to replace the power motors.

Go to a bone yard. 25 a piece including regulators. At least that is what it cost me for mine.

They gave it to me as whole unit. Just needed pass side. Drilled the rivets holding the old one in. Popped it out. Got the new one in installed the bolts and nuts(not forgetting lock washers). Took me about an hour or so to replace the whole thing. Not bad on the difficulty scale either.

Note this was replacing power window motor with power window motor. To make them manual you need the same thing only with a new handle and probably have to drill holes in the inside door skin. Not worth the trouble in my estimation.

the regulators will fit the door just fine.

what year is your truck???

if it is a 92+ truck you have to use a 92+ regulator, and you'll have to get manual window door panels(because the power panel sticks out farther right where the crank will be)

if it is a 91 or older anything from a 1980-1991 will fit( i know on the 86 i had all i had to do was pop out the power window switches and the crank sat there, not sure about the 87-91 door panels.
