came home from work this morning and decided to try to jump the truck.it turned over for about 5 seconds and fired up?????i let it run for about 15 minutes as it was running i noticed the idle between 600 900rpm in and out.a few times i thought it was going to shutdown! i killed the motor and restarted.it fired up and ran again......still with the unsteady idle.......could the battery cause all this or does it sound like something else.the battery is less than a year old.now im afraid to drive it anywhere for fear the truck may not start when im ready to come home.anyway thanks for listening.i apreciate any help or suggestions.i see this site as an invaluable resource!!!!!!

I've had a similar problem where the truck dies at random moments. It will stop running while driving as well as not start sometimes. Fuel pressure is fine and I'm suspecting something in the ignition system.. possibly module or coil?

Sorry for adding my problem in your post but I'm suspecting we have a similar problem. Hope someone can help us out.
