I am trying to help my brother out he has a 94 f150 4x4 and the trans is toast it is an e4od I found one out of a 91 question is will it work his truck is a 5.8 the 91 is a 5.0 I know the bell is the same are the electronics the same ?? are the plugs the same ? thanks for any help

 

as long as the donor is also a 4x4 it will work...they are the same

 

They changed the main electronics plug somewhere in those years but I hear it can be swapped.
