Wheelwell patch panels

I am installing wheelwell patch panels on a 1992 f150 and was wondering what do you do with the metal wheelwell inner panel cut it out? if anyone has done this could you help a brother out

The outer panel is spot welded to the inner fenderwell. You need to drill out the spot welds and separate the panels so the new panel can be spot welded back on.
