Wheel stud
I have a 1993 f150 2wd. I have moto metal 962 18x10 with 2" wheel spacers, not hub centric (so they never been on the stock studs). Truck shakes to say the least don't want the wheel spacers. But the bore doesn't fit over the whole hub so only a 1/4" of the stud sticks out. What size are the stock studs and could I just get longer studs and press them in my disc brake ??
If the bore doesn't fit over the hub then the wheel is not against the wheel mounting surface ? Is that what's happening ?
If the wheel doesn't go on all the way, then it doesn't fit your truck.
They might look good but if they don't fit, they don't fit.

That said, sure you could get longer studs and press them in, no problem. Another option is to have a machine shop make the opening larger so that the hub actually fits. I'm not sure how that would look as I have no idea what your rims look like, if you have center caps, etc.
Personally I wouldn't chose either of those options, I'd get new rims but you're playing around with your safety and the safety of others.

Sorry but they're not perfectly fine. If they were they'd fit and wouldn't shake.

Which means they're the wrong wheels for your truck. People are trying to keep you from killing yourself or someone else - wheel spacers/adaptors or not, the wheels don't fit your truck. Period.
Of course if you already know it all...that's different.
Should probably show some respect to people who are going out of their way to try and help you though.
Maybe you weren't trying to be disrespectful; sure sounded like it though.

I read where you said "the truck shakes to say the least", which I take it as it shakes like hell. Maybe that's not what you meant? I understand what you're saying, the center hole on the rim is too small for the hub on your truck and therefore will not side all the way back on the spacers. You want us to say it's ok to put longer studs on so that the lug nuts have more material to thread onto. You could do that but it's not safe. Period. You could make the center hole on the rim bigger to fit over the hub and it would be safer but might wreck your rim. Either way, good luck with whatever you do.
