Default Wheel questions

I have been doing some looking around and I like the look of wheels such as mickey thompson classic II. However i read some reviews and the different folks say that they are hard to keep polished. Is this true with aluminum wheels. I have the stock rally wheels now and shine them up with no issues using mothers mag wheel polish. Would I have the same issue with these or any other polished aluminum wheel? Also what are the measurements of a 15'' wheel that we can fit. I will hopefully be picking up a used set of 33'' and if i remember right from what the guy told me they are 15 by 10.5. Im not too good with the different backspacing and such so help me out.
One final thing does anyone have any pictures of such wheels on their truck now? I did some searches but didnt pull up much unless im not using the correct keywords.
Thanks a lot.

Well from reading about them they are polished aluminum. I dont plan on going into the mud a whole lot so keeping them shiny i dont forsee it to be a problem especially with such products as mothers power ball. I am looking to see if folks have had them and the durability of the wheels lasting.
Plus, what sizes fit these trucks?

We have a 5x5.5" bolt pattern, stock wheels are 15x7.5. If you're going to run 33x12.50s, you're going to want 15x10s with about 4 inches of backspacing so you don't rub the radius arms when you turn. Also you might need a leveling kit to fit them. 33s should fit under a stock 4x4 but because our trucks are getting older some sage more than others so I can't tell you if 33s will fit under yours or not.

Polished aluminum wheels - I hope you don't mind cleaning. They look great when clean, but neglect them and they're just ugly. Shouldn't be too hard though if you're used to the stock polished wheels. Just look out for whether or not the Mickey's have clearcoat over them like the factory wheels

Thanks mustangGT90210. Thats the information that i was looking for. I am not very keen on backspacing and all that stuff. I have been planning on getting a level kit. Just waiting to pull the trigger.
Thanks a lot.

Thank you also Mustang. I have been wanting to go to a 16" wheel as the 15's are becoming almost non existent anymore. This information should come in very handy.
