????????????? You guys to need to google instead of guess. R.Low I believe hit it. It looks like a 16 pin diagnostic connector, but that's not the location that I'm used to seeing it in. That location should be the trailer brake controller. Here is one of the trailer brake plugs.

The darker one on the left is the wires..it goes up to a even bigger group of wires. The bigger group of wires goes from in behind my gauges to in behind my radio.. (I can't follow it farther without taking my dash apart)

Nope.. definitely 14.. lots of wires in small space with big fingers.. hard to count

Part of the big group of wires comes back down into these a matter of inches from it

Looks more like a radio plug. Do you have a radio? Some have an upgraded sound system with a different than normal plug, but if you have a stock radio it should be plugged in. If you don't have a stock radio is it wired in with a plug kit or did they cut and splice and run a few of their own wires? The plug kit would have two plugs but with the upgraded sound system one plug would work and the other plug would be special order and they may have said f*ck it.
