Question What is this part?

Hi. I hope you all can help. I am redoing my rear brake shoes and I noticed that the wheel cylinder also needs to be replaced. It appears that there are two pins that rest inside the push-on boot but I cannot find what this part is even called.

Below I've attached a picture with the part I am talking about circled in red. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Those are the pistons.

When you push the brake pedal, the fluid forces the pistons out.
They then force the shoes onto the drum, slowing you down.
Let off the pedal, they retract, as do the brake shoes.

You prolly already knew that.

Those aren't the pistons. The pistons are inside the wheel cylinder. I don't know what they are called.

Don't know what they are called but they might come in the rear drum hardware kit that LMC sells. Can't tell from the catalog though.

I know they're not the pistons. I can't think of what they're called either. I also have looked at a wheel cylinder kit and can't seem to find the part with it.

I may have to go to the salvage yard...

Wheel cylinder plungers, according to Mr. Haynes.
