What diff fluid?
My 98 4x4 uses SEA 75W-90 GL-5 gear lubricant in the front and SAE 75W-140 GL-5 synthetic gear lubricant with 4 ozs of friction modifier (Ford part number C8AZ-19B546-A) in the rear axle. You should really check with Ford for your vehicle because using the correct lubricant is really important.

Doing the front diff is a little trickier. I've seen a couple trucks with drain plugs drilled and tapped for a 1/2" socket plug on the bottom which would be nice.
You can also use a vacuum hand pump and suck the old fluid.

take off the front fill plug, and suck out the fluid from there.
Or like many do and I've seen are drilled drain plugs like this, very easy to do I hear.

To do the front, remove the lower plug and let it drain. Use a suction pump to get out the fluid that does not drain from the plug. Reinstall the plug and remove the upper plug. Fill through the upper plug to the bottom of the hole and reinsert the plug and you will be good to go.
