Just find a decent synthetic or even a semi-synthetic gear oil. That will be more than sufficient for your setup.

While you got the fluid out take you back wheels off and see if the seals are leaking.

How do you do the front ive been asking around and no one seems to know how to do it i would like to do them both since I doubt anyone has ever done it before and my truck is a daily driver and semi offroad when I get the chance

Doing the front diff is a little trickier. I've seen a couple trucks with drain plugs drilled and tapped for a 1/2" socket plug on the bottom which would be nice.

You can also use a vacuum hand pump and suck the old fluid.

take off the front fill plug, and suck out the fluid from there.

Or like many do and I've seen are drilled drain plugs like this, very easy to do I hear.

To do the front, remove the lower plug and let it drain. Use a suction pump to get out the fluid that does not drain from the plug. Reinstall the plug and remove the upper plug. Fill through the upper plug to the bottom of the hole and reinsert the plug and you will be good to go.

What? There is no "lower plug". You have to make one.
