Well I went to the salvage yard today, went for a washer pump and an adjustment bracket for my park break. Found the bracket, need to adjust/ modify the snot out of it to work, and walked up on an 89 150 with a brand new ford washer fluid/ rad.over flow reservoir with brand new pump! Score! So yea I took the whole kit and kabootle! 4.50 for all can't beat that! Got home and put the new reservoir filled it up with fluid and blew the hose strait off! Used a small hose clamp on it now it squirts dang near over the cab !!!! Must have been going bad for a while!

that. i use 2 small zip ties and it seems to have done. my kept blowing off also. it is a stupid design. if they used better quality hose instead of the plastic all would be good. i was having issues with that line blowing off last year. glad i don't these issues with my dodge trucks.

Well, after replacing the kinked rear tank lines and installing them backwards (stupid dorman replacement lines...long story), replacing the rear pump/sending unit, replacing the high pressure frame pump, replacing the fuel filter, and taking the fuel reservoir apart 3 times I finally got her moving. What a headache. But it's soo worth it in the end. Didn't know I'd miss the truck that bad when it was down for a couple weeks.

Today I finished up the K&N filter/ MSD 6AL install brackets, made good progress on the E-fan brackets. I gave my sand blasted battery mount brackets a coat of 3M rubberized under coating.

Got my 2 meter ham radio and my HF rig installed in my truck a couple weeks ago along with my antennas. My big antenna is somewhere around 14ft to the tip from the ground. I've got a linear to install, but's too freakin' cold and wet this weekend! The Fiances' a ham too and I need to get her HF rig installed and her antennas put on too. I just can't get motivated to anything this weekend. I got my Ham License about 17 years ago, and got away from it when the Ex and I split up 10 years ago. We're back together now and getting all of our radio equipment reinstalled and back on the air.

Think it's time to get to the liquor store for some Everclear and make a batch of Apple Pie and put up the Christmas Tree.

It was custom made. Found it at the Salvage Yard for $24. 3" Rectangular Tube Steel and 3" Angle Bed Rails. All one piece.
