Discovered a power steering leak. Might as well change both lines since they are kinda crusty looking.

Broke the inners of my front axle not to long ago, going tomorrow to pick up a 79 bronco Dana 44 to do a solid axle swap on my 93 what do y'all think? Worth the 2500? Y'all have any problems with the factory IFS axles bowing the tires bad? Especially when reversing?

its normal for them to bow when backing up. never had the issue going forward.

and $2500 for just the axle or the whole bronco? if its just the axle that seems minimum double what you should be paying.

I found a 79 bronco axle with out hubs for $300, my local shop would charge me 1700 for instillation and 150 for a good pair of hubs and I would need to have the axle painted to match the under side, now its a weird greenish brown color.

ah 1700 to install sounds a little high still. that's a little over 21 hours of work at $80 a hour lol. paint should only cost them $50 if they do a nice job.

IMO a good shop should be able to do it in a day.

Yah I know considering I only payed 3k for the whole truck :p but I've got a ten year plan for it. SAS, kind ranch bucket seats, 35x16x15.5's, cummins 5.9l swap with a matching trans., convert to manual and buff paint and body out.

Also it's kinda exspencive because I'm not having them ghetto rig there own brackets, they are buying a bronco lift kit that will basically have most of the brackets needed ( or at least that's what I've been told) which a 79 bronco liftnisnlike what 1200 for a good one?
