Finally got all four stock steelies sand blasted down. Prepped them for paint and shot em with 2-3 coats of black and two coats of clear. Came out pretty good. Used a kobalt top resevior gun. Not perfect but they're definitely shiny.

Thats the 1 thing I didn't do was put cleat coat on mine, but I did put on at least 4-5 coats so they are still shiny when clean, and they don't outshine the rest of my paint

Nice Job.

Thanks! I was thinking about just doing black but I like shiny black too much and I had the stuff to clear it. I'm going to do the chrome center caps to them. I've already pulled two at the junkyard. But imma leave the beauty rings off.

You are basically going the same route as me, but I just have to drill and tap the holes in the rims in order for me to get my brand new center caps on.

Heres what it looks like in ghetto, rims are painted with rock guard or undercoating, notice the tires been cleaned but nothing else, Thats how Bubba J rolls.

I guess I bought a mass air 4.9 and it s uglier than the black hole.

Lol. Yeah, mine aren't that deep either. Just 15x7s with a 32 11.50 15. I think I'm going to like it. If I could try the chrome rings with out tearing up the paint I would. But what I've got now are 15x8s. I just can't rotate because the back two have a different offset. Looks good, just can't rotate. But I guess since I've got a tire changer and a balancer I could do that but it'd just be a pain to do it every 5000. These tires are brand new as well so I'm going to be rotating religiously.

Swapped in a new Red Top battery and the front speakers. Brought her in to the shop to do this, since it's snowing here lastnight, got about 6"s so far. Tomorrow morning will be the rear speakers, since I didn't have enough time before everyone started to wake up and come get some work done.

Got my freshly painted wheels mounted and balanced. I used stick-on weights so I wouldn't have to clip on the weights to the outside. Came out pretty good. Yes, I like taking pictures. Lol. I still need to get chrome center caps for the front and red paint to paint the half circles on my locking hubs to match the back center caps.
