What did you do to your truck today?

Had to replace my windshield wiper motor. Was a real pain trying to get the cowel off, at least is was metal - if it was plastic I would have broken it for sure. I found some great "How To" instructions on this site. Used motor was $25.00 not too bad.

I worked on the exhaust & the truck bed today.
I've never seen anything like it before. Got a 94 with 110 k. miles and it looks like the original exhaust. It's in pretty good shape but two of the three OEM hangers rusted off at the weld. I really didn't trust myself to try to weld them back on w/o burning a hole through the pipe so instead i stick welded the hangers on to a 2 1/2" exhaust clamp and reattached em' that way.
The vacuum new reserve canister came in on the UPS truck today. Never expected to get a new OEM " Juice Can" just like the one that had rusted out because i thought they weren't available anymore but the parts gods must have been smiling. Many thanks to the gent that shipped it !
A 6" x 6" section of the truck bed had rusted out right where one of the bed bolts attaches to the frame. Cut that piece of sheet metal out along with the bed cross frame that was spot welded underneath the bed. Replicated the frame section along with a special provision for the bolt then welded it into place. A couple of more hours tomorrow and that's another repair task that can be crossed off the list.
It's getting there. In another month or so the truck should be all ship shape and ready for a Maine winter.
