What did you do to your truck today?
Senior Member
Been busy today and yesterday! I finally got around to refurbishing the plastic disk on the center caps of my wheels. Now they are back to black instead of yellow! Then I cleaned my engine bay up a bit, installed a new Accell distributor cap and rotor, and some Taylor Thundervolt wires (in Ford Blue!). Also put in a new temp sensor in the upper rad hose to work my e-fans. And then I gave the truck a good washing up!

Looking good Clint!
Have you ever considered getting your windows tinted? Doesn't cost too much (I think I paid $200 for the good solar tint). It looks great (personal opinion) and it dramatically increases the effectiveness of your A/C in the summer time (science, lol). Now in the summer time, I back into my driveway because the arc of the sun goes behind my house, and is an absolute game changer when you get into the truck on a 90 degree day when you have the fishbowl front window aimed away from the sun and the black rear window shielding you from most of the heat. It has to help keep dash from fading/cracking too.
Anyways, just a thought

Yep, I have thought about it, but I'm worried about it cutting down on visibility when I'm driving to work at 4:30 in the morning dark! But maybe a light tint would be okay...

Just got my new KYB shocks put in this morning! It's amazing what you can accomplish when it's not raining on you!

How do you like the shocks?
Fuel system
I put in 2 new fuel pumps, fuel filter, fuel pressure regulator, O2 sensor and serpentine belt today on my 91 single cab. More to do over the next couple weeks. Going to be great getting it back on the road.

Got my new pinstripes finished up today! Used this tape: and it went on pretty well. My daughter had the brilliant idea on how to recreate the design by the window. She suggested taping some wax paper over the existing design, then striping over it with the new tape, then cover that with some clear packing tape. Then I took the whole thing off and set it aside while I took off the old stripes. Then I took off the wax paper exposing the adhesive side of the new design, put it on the truck, then carefully peeled off the packing tape, then voila, a perfect reproduction of the original!!! Sure glad I have kids smarter than me!
Next up is some new EB stickers for the bed. Got those ordered today in the same metallic copper color...

Have you looked for or found the lower pinstripe tape - the one between the body color & the lower trim color? I've checked a few times, but never found it, in any color combination.
