Default Wasted time

I spent most of my afternoon dinkin around with my rear leaf spring. I wanted to to remove the stock 2 inch block that's between the spring and the axle. Got it out and then when we started tightening the u boots back down in place we found out that they were too long and didn't have enough threads. Since I don't have money to go buy a bunch of new u bolts I just put it back together how it was.
Was trying to get the truck a hair more level for free. Didn't work.

Take the block out and put it on the top or bottom and re-use the bolts. Not sure if that will work in this application with brake lines and such

Just got my truck back after a week in the shop! Got a new clutch assembly, new slave and master cylinders and hydraulic line, new synchros, new u-joints, and new differential fluid! Man, what a difference! Drives really nice and smooth now, shifts good, and is really, really quiet! Except for the sound of me crying over the $2k bill....

But I'm pretty sure this is a one time repair! Good for another 170k miles!

Just changed the coolant temperature sensor again. This time I quit trying to be cheap and got the Motorcraft brand. The difference is amazing! No more surging and stalling! Now I have to swap out the other one that goes to the gauge...

Don't think I've ever heard of that brand.

I just washed her, did a wipe down with rubbing alcohol/water and put a fresh coat of sealant on. It is a beautiful day!

Oh, I changed the MLPS out as well for a Motorcraft unit. We'll see if it changes anything.

Still working on the 94. Moved some plug wires around to avoid EMI (Electro Magnetic Induction) misfires, something the guy I hired for the tune up didn't know about either. Seemed to help some. Eliminated some censers from the list of possible problems (checked MAP vac diaphragm etc...). So it narrowed down to the coolant censer, Oxygen censer, or the wiring to the Oxygen censer. Still can't get any codes from it, just beeps out 55555 in diagnostic.

Got some new corner light lenses installed (TYC brand. Thanks BLDTruth!), and while I had everything apart, I added LED bulbs to the corner lights, parking lights, and the front turn signals! Then I put in some new halogen bulbs in the headlights, Philips Extreme Vision (thanks again to BLDTruth!). I took a video of everything working, but I can't figure out how to upload it. They look great and work great too. I'll get some LEDs for the taillights eventually. I already got an electronic flasher so hopefully that will make everything work okay.
