Default Custom Side Dual Exhaust BOTH SIDES

This is what I did today. Decided to upgrade stock exhaust on my 94 I-6. Sounds better, but could use some headers. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Got a P0401 insufficient EGR flow for my 1996 f150 v8 5.0L.
1. Took the EGR valve off, put duct tape over the hole, started the engine. Disconnected the EGR solenoid electrical connector, saw it was getting its 5v reference power.
2. Supplied my own power and ground to the solenoid and was able to activate the EGR valve in my hand.
3. checked DPFE sensor for ohms across the power and ground terminals, got nothing. back probed the signal wire while engine was running and was just getting a ground signal.
4. bought a new DPFE sensor for $60, got an ohms reading across the terminals. Installed the sensor.
5. back probed the signal wire and saw 1.1v while at idle. Supplied power and ground to the solenoid again and then the signal wire read 1.8v showing that it is responding to EGR flow.

Finally had a dry enough day to put in my new radiator and thermostat. I was able to get a two-row since I had plenty of room after getting rid of the mechanical fan and going with dual e-fans. Everything seems to work good, no leaks!

I need to put in new ball joints too. How tough a job was it? Need anything special other than the standard ball joint clamp?

Dropped off my Alcoa rims to get tires mounted today. Lacking funds for the lift kit I ended up just going with a 31/10.50 bfg AT ko2. Will have the tires ready Monday pics to follow.

Nice work! Hope it all works ok. Keep an eye on coolant the first week or two, and run the heater.

Thanks for the advice! I didn't even think about running the heater (it was nearly 70 here today!), I'll definitely do that!
