Default what is this connector??

I don't know why this photo keeps posting upside down but.
you can see the connector it self at the bottom of the image, the wires snake around to merge with the larger wiring, which you can see to the right and down of the power steering reservoir cap. Aside from the odd hiccup at low speeds, and check engine light turning on then off, this truck runs ok.

That may be a wire for an accessory that you do not have, if everything works don't worry about it.

Truck used to have a small plow, but the connector seems like it was part of original manufacture c

what engine? 5.0 or 5.8? that looks like your driver side AIR BAG connection.

don't plug it in with the battery connected, your AIR BAG may blow...disconnect the battery...remove your grill, find one of the two black boxes that are bolted to the core support...clean the connections, and plug that sucker back in!!

mine has one similar. it was sitting on the valve cover at one point, so part of its melted. But i dont have airbags. I just assumed theres a universal engine wire harness for multiple engines and mine didnt use this plug. or it could be for my hyperdrive unit (explains why i cant go to ludacris speed lately)

No man that is not why you can not go ludacris speed lately. It is your canuter valve that hooks to your muffler bearing. That is why your hyperdrive is not functioning. Some must have jiggered it up and now the hyperdrive will not engage unless you fix it and get more dylithium crystals.

If that's the I6 then it looks like the power steering pressure switch plug. Only the I6s have the pressure switch.
