this is on my 95 f150 4.9l..it has one vaccum line that tees off into the throttle body and thats it...

anybody no what this is and is it hooked up right?

Eh, looks like your carbon canister - supposed to absorb fuel tank vapors which are then sucked into the engine to be burned off.

Haven't messed with mine - consider it non-essential equipment. But, the ones I have fooled around with had a filter on the bottom which is supposed to be changed occasionally, and a line to the fuel tank.

That's your charcoal purge canister. The line running to it should come from the vent on your fuel tank, and the small line from the TB should be coming out of the canister purge solenoid.

should the line from the fuel tank go to that center port?also theres (2) vaccum ports on the throttle body that come together and conect to this..is this correct
?
