Just unplug the door dinger.

I found mine unplugged when I bought the truck. I didn't know what it was till I plugged it in, then I unplugged it after finding out.

I think these are the plugs being refered to. The big one goes to the "Very Annoying" Door adjar/keys are in the ignition buzzer, the smaller I haven't a clue.

i jus checked for the clip...cant find it. mines a 89 model would it be in a different location?? the dinging sound is comin from under the steering colum

im so happy i dont have that problem, mine is plugged in cuz it as bothering me but the last owner of my truck bypassed the ignition and wrecked it so i still have to have it in the on position but i dont need a key

i believe that is the PSOM. you use it to recalibrate your speedo for diff size tires.

dewman's right. the plug under the dash is to plug a trailer brake control unit.
