on my 93 4.9l 4x4 i switched from the round style mount cause they kept breaking on me even the solid rubber ones, i switched to the older rectangle style ones. i got off a 95 4.9l, i had one start to break when i pulled my motor so i replaced it when i put it back in and now when i poped the hood and looked at the passenger side mount it is bent forward like the engine is miss aligned. this is weird to me. what could be causeing this?

 

Probably your lead foot. I know how that goes.

Those round ones do suck. I've broken them tightening them on.
