When I start my truck evrytime it revs up to idle and gos back down to almost dieing then it goes back up and repetivley does this for about 1.5 mins. What is causing this.... Even at running temp it does it. After I run it down the road it runs fine and doesnt die on me none.....COuld it be the vacum lines or is it in need of new spark plugs and wires.....thx.....

 

There have been a couple of other threads on this subject, if you do a search for them you will probably find some answers on what to do.

 

Mine did the same thing,changed the idle air control valve and has been fine since.
