Default weird exhaust problem?

on my 93 f150 4.9l i recently added a longtube header and have just two glasspacks running back and out the side before the tire. no cats, straight piped basically, no egr or AIR pump hooked up. when i put the exhaust on with no o2 sensor it sounded fine. after i put the o2 sensor on it runs good. i dont think this has anything to do with the o2 sensor.

but it sounds like it is just blowing air out. when i start it up it has a good tone but then it just sound like air blowing. even when i idle at a stop light or something. is their something that could cause this?

when i got the collectors i used those gaskets that they gave with the kit witch was like the small metal/paper gasket. now i just got these to replace them to see if this works

i dont know if anyone else out thier with a 4.9l has the same problem?

I had problems with my collector gaskets on my Camaro until I put on those aluminum ones.

The aluminum is definitely a better option...once you put em on.....make sure you retorque em after a bit of driving....
