I don't even remember what the tires are to be honest. But I did notice some of this started after putting them on. What about the axle pivot bushing? How hard is that to replace anyway? I may put new radius arm bushings on this weekend just for kicks...think I was wrong on the torque also. Looks like 130 would hee closer.

you'll know just by looking at the Radius arms if they need new bushings and it wouldnt align properly if they were out...

I am betting if you go reduce the air pressure in the tires to 25psi all around it will drive alot different

25psi? Don't think I'll be running that low.

It'd probably really help the masses here, if you simply could look and see what tires you have, and what the recommended air pressure is.

the pressure noted on the side wall of any tire is the max pressure that tire can run at it not the recommened pressure for that particular vehicle. if your running 50 psi in your 31's your only driving on about 3 inches of that tire and your going to make the center of the tire wear (go bald) before the rest of the tire. Now if you run to little air in your tire your only running on the edges of the tire because the center will cup inwards and you will wear the out side edges of the tire before the center of it. if your running a p rated tire on your truck anything from a 30 to a 33 i would stick with 30 to 35 psi. If your running a lt rated tire you csn up that some if want to but i would never go over 40 psi for a half ton truck even if you haul with it.

I will have to check later... They are a lt tire, have always ran 36-38 psi. I'm thinking it's the radius arm bushings getting worn, and possibly just how the tires are.

The tires are Lingo Road Venture AT. I'm not at the truck, but that's what they are. 31-10.5x15 ifI remember right I noticed a slight wandering problem after I got them but it wasn't enough to bother me. Would the axle pivot bushing have any effect? Don't know of it's worn or not... What's it take to change it? As cheap as all the bushings are, may just replace and see if it helps. Open for any ideas though.

Betcha its your extra-wide tires. My '96 F-150 had those same tires on it when I bought it used, and it also wandered all over the road. The first thing I did was replace them with the tires shown on the door pilar, and the wandering vanished immediately. I expect that if you insist of keeping your tires, you might as well get used to the wandering.

Sorry thats Kumho brand tires (phone screwed up). I have run that size tires for man years before these, never had an issue at all. I am betting it may be the RA bushings. They really dont look worn, but it certainly makes sense and everything else is brand new within the past month! So going to put on some new ones. They are cheap, not hard to do, might as well give it a try. If anyone else has any suggestions, Ill give it a try.
