rattle help

Default rattle help

anyone have a rattle around 1k rpm. sounds like its coming from the passenger side but i cant find it from anything. almost positive its not exhaust related. any ideas?

Sure its not exhaust or a heat shield? Ive got a similar rattle/clang from my passenger side. Shaking my exhaust i can see that its the problem. Start moving stuff around and see whats loose.

i would go underneath and beat on your cat with your hand see if thats the noise. Same thing happened to me ended up being the heat sheild on the cat.

make sure it's not your dash... passenger side dash mount frequently breaks then rattles / squeaks. check it ooot

Its a clear metal on metal rattle abd only happebs at 1000 rpm and then dissappears.i tore one heat shield off last year

Wheres the dash mount at? My dash is loose and rattles everytime i hit a bump

bottom right corner of the dash. to the right of the glove box, you can see it bolt to the cab. Bronco graveyard makes a metal replacement that i just bought. I'll post pictures of the install process.
