Default Vacuum lines & hoses

Can anyone tell me where I can buy a complete vacuum lines and hose kit together for a 89 F150 300 inline 6 or do they sell such a kit ? I'm restoring a old farm truck that was given to me.

I couldn't find one, I just used rubber lines from the parts store in my 96. Didn't take long to do at all. Google rubber vacuum line conversion or something like that, should come up with a thread on the conversion. I just did this a week or two ago.

You'll need 18 to 20 feet of rubber or thick walled silicone hose and at least 2 vacuum tees. There is no OEM replacement available.

I think the inside diameter of the hose needs to be 5/32".

You are correct. I got 25 ft of hose and have probably 8 feet left.

Here is a walk-thru, the general consensus is that the silicone hose will last a lot longer than rubber-some of which can dry out and crack in as little as a year depending on heat/placement, I have no first hand knowledge of this. I am however taking the advice from the bronco forum and ordering silicone hoses from www.siliconeintakes.com.

They have the generic plastic lines at AutoZone. You couldn't get fancy and make steel ones.
