Default Upper intake removal

I'm following the Chilton manual to remove the upper intake on my 95 F150 5.0 and I've got all the bolts taken out except the inner center bolt. Is it a allen head bolt and if so can anyone tell me the exact size I need please?

Forgot to mention that you might want to get a 1/4in. drive torx instead of 3/8in drive. On mine I would have had to grind down the outside of the 3/8in drive in order for it to fit in between the intake runners.

This guy here has a GREAT video on how to remove it. It's on one of my list of things to do. He said you need a long extension to get in between. And also, the trick was to somehow stick the torx screw on the socket when putting it back in.

Ceramic coated 351W intake

If you have a little time have the intake powder or ceramic coated. I have mine done for $75 for the upper and the lower. It will last way longer than paint and hold up 100 times better.

Did you have it dipped to be cleaned first?

The powder coater did all the prep work to it before they coated it.
