Today, my 1991 F150 4.9 took me from Van Horn to El Paso at an average of 70 mph in the snow. No problems and 17.1 mpg. Great times.

Coming up on 100,000 now- new tires, rebuilt transmission, starter/solenoid fix, installed A/C, new brakes, new coil springs, and soon to reinstall heater.

New, well-inflated tires, conservativeish driving habits, and cold Texas winter air with no A/C help a bit, but all in all, I'm satisfied- returns the same milage as bigger, newer trucks with none of the payment.
