Default Unknown Gunk in Engine Coolant

Hello people I have some unknown gunk in my Engine Coolant on my 1993 Ford F150 5.0 4x4

I have no clue what it is Oil? Something else?

This truck has sat under a pine tree for the past 4 years ever since it blew two freeze plugs and I have just recently got it running. Here is some Pics

looks alot like oil and coolant mixed..hopefully something isnt cracked letting oil into the coolant... usually coolant gets into the oil tho..hows the oil look? since you mention the freeze plug issue, sounds like you had a freeze event where the system had water in it perhaps?

You have a big mess on your hands. You should have coolant in your oil too

It's possible one of the coolers went out in your radiator also. Pull your oil and trans dipsticks and see what they look like:

Coolant in the oil is usually due to a busted head gasket. Oil in coolant? The only thing I can think of is on my 89 f150 an oil breather hose runs from top of the engine to the air box which is right by the coolant reservoir seeing that I have aftermarket intake, that hose sits open and if I did blow oil out there for whatever reason there's a good chance it could get in the coolant resevoir.

The only places I can think of where oil and coolant mix are in the radiator where the trans coolant lines run in, and in the engine block/head. Check the radiator and make sure trans fluid isn't leaking in there. If trans is free of coolant, then you probably have an issue with the block or head. Most likely a blown head gasket. Hopefully the head or block didn't crack from the water freezing!! How is it running other wise? Is there coolant in your oil pan / bubbles on the dip stick when you check the oil?

You only get trans fluid mixing with coolant in the rad - that makes bright pink foam.
That looks more like oil mixed in to me. Like LaMartian said, intake gaskets most likely or head gasket maybe.
Needs to be checked anyway for sure. Shouldn't be driving it till you know for sure. Get any crap like that running through your bearings and you'll be looking for a new motor.

The Truck runs perfect The oil on the dipstick looks fine it isnt milky but my Transmission fluid has disappeared

The old owner I went to church with and the radiator went bad so he let it sit for two years and then he put a new radiator and transmission cooler on it and when he went to crank it after that two freeze plugs blew so he let it sit for another two years until his wife made him sell it

Is it possible he got the trans cooler lines mixed up with the radiator lines??
