Default turn signal problems

well i have a 1995 f150 and i am having problems with my turn signals. i was driving today and my turn signals just stopped working. before all this the turn signals during the last couple of days would blink really fast then go slow and every now and then one would stay on. i checked all my bulbs, but haven't checked the fuses yet and i don't know if it is a turn signal switch. but anyway back to today, my turn signals just stopped working and every now and then they will cut back on for a couple of seconds. somebody help me please.

mine did something similar, are you sure it's not the bulbs?
when it flashes fast, is either the front or back working but not the other or is it neither?
