Default Tuner/programmer?

Do these things actually work and what brand seems to give you the best of both worlds. I'm looking for better fuel economy but more power is a plus. I have a 96 so pretty much anything is compatible.

What kind of gains did you see? And were they worth what you paid for it? Thanks

They vary in price by how much hp you wanna gain, I have had awesome luck with the brand superchips. I right away noticed better mileage and more hp. My dad got a 250 hp chip for his f550 work truck and then had a tow off against a chevy 4500 brand new and it couldn't budge it. Then they hooked up 2 dodge 3 quarterton trucks to the front of the 550 and the 550 dragged them in reverse. Btw the dodges were cummins diesels, 3 years newer than the ford. Sorry this is long but i just thought I'd tell u. Let me now how it turns out

Depends on how much hp you wanna gain, but yes I think if u want some gain and better mileage this is the way to go. But if u have the money I would suggest getting a supercharger if u want more hp let me know how it goes

Well I'm assuming that you have a 5.4 v8, and in that case you will notice more power and better mileage
