What's the difference between a h and x pipe as far as sound goes, which sounds better on these engines, and should I oput either of these on or just run both ind pipes?

My opinion is that true duals are not connected in any way. Plenty of people argue otherwise, but if they are connected they aren't truly dual. That being said, I'd go with the X pipe if it won't add to the cost much.

Would it actually make much of a difference if I put 1 on there?

H-pipes are usually quite a bit cheaper and are better for low and mid range torque. That's what I'd go for on a truck. Plus I tink you need a midpoint to put in the o2 sensor.

Well I got it all put on today. I didn't get an x or h pipe, just completely true duals, no cats, just 18" glasspacks. It ended up only costing 150 and it sounds amazing, its a lot deeper and helluva lot louder also. Its a lot better than the si/do flowmaster original 40. Def recommend, ill try to get a soundclip some time soon

Yup, it actually ended up/costing me more when I put on that flowmaster. I think that last setup was like 210 and that was just a sido flowmaster and pipes after it and tips. I'm sold on the shop . Ima sell that flowmaster for like 45 to my friend so it'll end up only bein like 100 out of pocket
