Default Trouble starting

On my 91 4x4 5.0 before putting the new built E4OD in the truck it would start and run fine. Now after replacing it and it sitting for almost a year if you turn the key on, the lights will turn on, on the dash but the starter isn’t getting power and the fuel pump isn’t turning on. I was wondering if anyone has had this problem and if it could be the starter switch under the dash. TIA

Don't come around here starting trouble...

Did you try charging or jumping the battery? How exactly did you determine that "the starter isn’t getting power and the fuel pump isn’t turning on"? How exactly did you test them? Of course, a failed ig.switch can prevent the truck from cranking, but it's not a likely cause. The caption of this diagram explains how to test it:

But the starter relay is a more-likely culprit - read this caption:

Your truck's been sitting for a year?
I would be surprised if you DIDN'T have to replace the battery.
After you do that, you'll want to drain all the fuel and replace it with fresh stuff. Now days gasoline can go bad in a month. Sitting stagnant for a year turns it into laquer

Default Fresh fuel

It has fresh fuel, and it was sitting without a battery, put a new battery in it and nothing. Only lights come on. I can cross the solenoid on the pass fender and it cranks over, but it won’t do anything on the column. Not crank no fuel pump kick on no onething

You check the fuse(S)?

Sitting that long I'm betting critters had their way with some wires.

Default No wires messed up

I’ve went through everything, wires are good, fixes are good, relays are good. I’d say I was really surprised there wasn’t any rodents or anything living in it but I gutted the truck before I parked it and cleaned the floors and doors and stuff with bleach to keep them out

Does the fender starter relay get power to the little wire when you have key on engine off? Verified by multi-meter?

You mean the solenoid on passenger side fender?

No no it’s not getting power. I can cross the terminals on the solenoid and it’ll crank but won’t fire. That’s why I’m leaning towards the starter switch under the dadh
