Does anyone know what is the name of the transmission on a 95 f150 5.0 automatic well maybe not the name but what kind it is?

is that the ones that usually need rebuilt after 200,000 miles or is that just a rumor? also i don't if this helps but the dash has the od symbol then 2 and then 1 to let you know what gear your in. I know that sounds crazy but maybe you know what i'm talking about

 

does it have a push button for overdrive

yea push button on the gear shifter as far as the vin goes it will be awhile before i can post that i am in my office at work

Mine needed re-built at 130K...that was with routine maintenance done to it.

 

so that trans is not that good?
