Default Transmission and diff oil

I have a 4spd in my 87 f150 and was wondering what is involved in changing trany oil. What kind should i use and how often should it be changed. It doesnt slip or grind. Also what oil do you run in the differentials. I want to do a bit of work to it before it goes on the road and i have my dads nice warm barn to do it in.

Remove drain plug to drain. Remove fill plug to fill, until it starts dripping out the hole. 80 weight gear oil for the transmission. Hypoid gear lubricant for the rear.

You said 4 speed, which led me to believe it was a stick. If it's an automatic then everything I just posted is wrong.

Ford recommends every 60,000 miles or so.
Diff is about 90,000 but I might change it the same as the trans.
