Default Transmission?

On my from home from a 100 miles highway trip yesterday and this happened twice. I felt a sudden rev in the engine but losing speed at the same time. It then jerk hard as if it caught the gear again. It's almost like the truck slipped out of the gear and then caught the gear again. What should I do at this point? Anyone has similar issue like this? 94 F150 5.0 2wd

It's an auto. I have never seen it doing that before with city driving.

Transmission range sensor on side of trans when cable hooks. My truck did it when I 1st bought it 4 yrs ago. Would be cruising all sudden like it pooped into neutral for sec or 2 them pop back in gear and drive fine. No rhyme or reasoning to when it would happen. Changed the sensor, and havent had problem sensor.

Do you happen to know the part number or does it go by another name? Can't seem to find it on Advance Auto Parts.

Thanks

Had to order the part from Ford. I'm hopeful it'll fix the issue. Again, thanks for your help.

It was such a pain today. Ford ordered the wrong part. The one that they ordered for me had the switch sit at the top so it's in the way of the gear lever. Finally, got the right part. Took me 30 minutes to take out all the old wires to put them in the new switch. Seems to be working right now. Only tried it on the highway for a few miles. Didn't act up. Again, thanks for your help.
