Default Trans Question??

I have a 95 4X4 5.8 liter, 8' bed with a bad E4OD auto trans. I found another one thats in a 95 XLT 4X4, 5.0 liter with a 6 foot bed. Will the E4OD out of a 5.0 bolt up to a 5.8 and are there any other issues I should be aware of?
Thanks All!!

As long as the new tranny's from a 4x4, it should bolt right up.

if your getting the t-case with it, it makes it a lot easier. the only tricky part is i hear some t-cases are manual shift, i havent personally seen any on this gen but whatever. only difference really is the driveshaft length. oh and if your doing it in the driveway, find someone with a motorcycle jack, works wonderfully down there(unless you have an actual trans jack, then use that)

Even if the trans did come with on or the other type of case (ie electric or manual) it's an easy swap to whichever you need. I'd rather have manual X-case as opposed to an electric any day.
