Default trans help

Ok just bought a trannyand transfercase for hell of a deal 200 for 86 aod rf-e3sp-7006 tranny ok well question is will it work with my 92 f150 reason cor askin is because the shifter on the trannys are different one on my truck has 2 bars both on opposite sides stickin striaght up in the air and on the 86 trans the shifter bar in stickin torwards the ground so that what i was wonderind what i had to do to make it work or if it was even possianle thank need help asap

I just found out guy took other bar off but if i changed the shafts out that are different do u think it would work

No will not work. In 87 Ford went EFI and changed the transmissions as well.

Early transes are mechanical clutch linkage, later are internal hydraulic slaves, you would have to fit in a 7th gen pedal set up.

Im really not sure what year it was but it came off a fuel injected motor

Please help i just put tranny in my truck and i only have reverse and when i put it in drive it only stays in first gear any ideas

The AOD is a mechanical automatic it does not require computer information to shift. It uses a TV cable to regulate pressures in place of the older vacuum, or the newer electronic modules.
