tranny removal... in progress

Default tranny removal... in progress

96, f150, 5.0l, 5speed mazda. got everything removed and a jack under the tranny but am having a hell of a time getting the tranny to slide back. checked and am pretty sure ive removed all bolts. is there a trick to getting the tranny to come off??? im hoping to finish up today so any help would be appreciated. thanks!

Did you remember engine the cover bolts on the transmission?

Hmmmmmm, my assumption on all bolts removed was inaccurate. Two little bolts on the front of the tranny that hold the metal plate to the bottom of the trans. new master cylinder and shell be ready to go.
