Default trailer plug conversion

i have a factory 4 prong on my truck, my trailer has a 7 pin connector. i've tried searching the forums for a how to convert, but with no luck. i have a tenkonsha brake controller, its wiring harness, and the 7 pin connector (it has a 4 prong plug and 4 extra wires (white, yellow, black and blue). what to do?

Autozone sells conversion plugs.

^x2 if not autozone try another auto parts store or somthing like that. just buy somthing that plugs into the 4 prong one and has the recieving end of the 7 prong one.

What year is the truck? I have a 93 and have a 7 pole connector on the truck. It that's what you have then I had to go to a trailer shop and have one made.
