Windshield trim removal

Default Windshield trim removal

I have a 95 f 150 with a leak in the windshield due to some glue miss ij ng bw the glass and the body...i could use the liquid glue they sell to repair the problem, but the chrome trim is in the way..anyone knows how to safely remove it or where to get the proper tool for it?

I took mine off using a small screwdriver... I taped off the edge with blue masking tape in the shade, took off the cowl below the windshield to get easier access to the lower clips. It's better to work slowly, and not damage things...than to be in a hurry and muff it all up. you can purchase a ford windshield tool online, and from some dealers.

Ok, so are there clips that hold it in place? Do I pry upwards our is there a specific way to remove the trim ?
