Default totalled

well 12/12/10 i was on my way to my gf house at around 11:30 at night, all my lights on(all 4 offroad lights and high beams). I get to the end of the hanover shoe farm horse fences on racehorse rd, headed towards mecheriestown from PA194, doin about 40-45 mph just cruisin watching for deer all of a sudden 4 horses run out 10 ft in front of me(it just got done raining and all too so the roads are wet) i swerved and missed 3 but caught the one in the lead. hit it with the passender side headlight in the head and it rolled down the side and under the rear tire. lost control of the truck for like 150-200 yrd, i couldnt stop, ***-end of the truck was every which way and went of an enbankment sideways and barely missed a poll then went down in a ditch and up an embankment again this time i came out on two wheels and got hte truck back on all four luckly, and finally it came to a stop. i thought i awas goin to have no trany after down shifting once into 2nd and it didnt want to go in so i made it go after alot of drinding and all.

well called the cops and all. smacked my head of the driver window and door pillar and hit my knee off the stearing wheel. cop got there and i finally got to see what all was damaged on the truck. lots of mud on it from the field i went up in, but the hood got smashed up some annihilated the passenger head night crinkled the fender some, smashed the door in some, and shashed the bed all up. thats body damage, the mechanicle damage cracked cross member, spring was moved at the bottom where it attaches to the axle, bent the passenger stearing arm. well i was able to drive it home(its a ford, built tough nothing can stop this ford lol) had the death wobble like a mother ******. took it to work in the morning and put it on the lift and bent the bar back rehooked the sway bar back up, and put the spring back in its right place. well then i also found out it blew the passenger wheel bearing out, and through the alignment completely out. i can bearly keep it on the road but ive driven worse so lol. i can handle it. drove it for like another week till i finally found a family member that let me have an old car till i get insurance money now the trucks off the road but makes a great toy lol.

HERE SHE IS DOESNT LOOK LIKE MUCH BUT ITS $10,000 IN BODY DAMAGES AND $2,000 IN MECHANICAL DAMAGES.

Any other truck would be dead on the spot. Biggest thing is how are the radius arms and mounts and if the rear is square. Collect the insurance. You can probably find parts and do it for 1\2 the cost of the quote. Best thing is aside from the front clip, you can use parts from an 80-96.

damn, after you hit a horse! i hit a deer with a 95 nissan hardbody and it did more damage than that... thats why i drive a ford.
about a month ago i hit a girl in my apt complex, well she pulled out in front of me. anyway, the center of my bumper caught her driver front corner and bent the hood, fender, bumper and busted her headlight assy, all it did to ole bessie was bent the front bumper. if i would have hit her with my corolla it would have been totaled

Did it kill the horse? I work with a guy that totalled his corvette swerving to miss a dog, and the dog owners home owners insurance covered everything.
