Me too... tell me some details ... what processes you used for prep... I have thought about doing this very thing myself. So I am really curious.

If you do all the prep, what do you end up saving?

well 5Rangers for prep i used a craftsman orbital sander with 100grit sand paper to take it all down to bare metal the sander once again with 220 grit after that i used bondo to fill any dings because no bodys perfect after hand sanding the bondo with multiple grits [80,100,150,220] i used eastwood pre its to remove all oils that might be on it then i used rust-oleum self etching primer spray can there you have it those are the steps i did hope it was help full if you need any links for products let me know. mustangGT90210 i found that doing the prep myself i saved about $1000 to $1500 bucks doing so you just have to be willing to take your time with it.
