I need help with what size tires I can put on my 88 f-150 custom

Stock is 235/75/R15. I think the maximum size without a lift and without a saggy front end you can go up to 33's. I'm not 100% on the 33's, but I'm fairly certain

2wd you can fit 31x10.50 on the stock wheel and rub the radius arms at full lock (not really an issue). 4x4 with a good front end you can maybe get away with 33x12.50. 33x10.50 for sure.

My leveled 2wd can fit 33s under the front right now, just don't have the money or gearing for it

Oooh, I forgot about the 2wd vs 4x4 F250 coils should help with fitting 33's under there

Ok thanks I'm planning on putting a 3 or 4 inch lift before I add tires

nice do you know what gears you have? that does come into play if you are going for performance. i run 31s on my 94 I6 i have 3.08 gears so its built for hauling heavy loads better not for speed.
