tire size problem
i have a 1987 ford f150 2wd and i want to put 31 inch tires on it. i want to know if they will fit with the stock hieght and if so what size should the rim and tire be. also if they wont fit what will i have to buy to make them fit. thanks
An 8" wide rim is the widest width rim you can run with your stock 4x2 without the wheel-wells outer edge hitting the side of the tire on rough roads or when carrying a heavy load.
10.50 x 31 tires should fit the stock Ford rims, that's what I would try first.
